hOMe COLLECTIVE TEAM
LCSW, Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist
Liz is the founder and visionary behind hOMe Collective, a vibrant community supporting health and wholeness! Liz earned her Masters of Social Work and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker during her time at Aurora Mental Health Center. Through Liz's work as a therapist, she realized how forgotten the body can be in talk therapy. Time and again she has witnessed how the everyday stresses of our world and the more acute traumas separate us from our bodies and selves. This realization inspired her to find an integrated approach to health and healing that truly invites body, mind and spirit to align. In becoming a Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist Liz is able to serve the whole person. Liz truly believes that Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Embodied Talk Therapy are vital pieces of the puzzle to wholeness. Liz and the practitioners of hOMe Collective are committed to supporting you on your journey; we’re all in this world together!

Rolfing and Massage
After having experienced the wonderful benefits of bodywork during my injury recovery after many mountain biking and snowboarding injuries while growing up in Steamboat Springs; compounded by a car accident at 19 that compressed my spine… I received my first 10 series of Rolfing®. Growing up in a health conscious environment with parents in the bodywork field, and having experienced such a transformative healing process myself, it seemed only natural for me to enter into this fantastic field.
I graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy and became licensed in ‘06. I then fine tuned my therapeutic skills by completing Rolfing® training at the Rolf® Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, CO.
Bodywork has been crucial in maintaining my quality of life, and I look forward to sharing the benefits of this amazing work with you.

Prior to entering psychology, I was an undergraduate film major at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk) who loved characters and dialogue and wanted to understand what made folks do the things they do. I graduated and moved to Los Angeles to make movies, but eventually realized it is people’s real stories and helping them find their way that is my real calling in this life.
I moved to Chicago and attended the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and graduated with a masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have now been a psychologist the past 11 years and worn a variety of hats along the way (therapist, manager, training director, adjunct professor) with my goal in all of these roles to be honest, transparent, emphatic, and collaborative.
I have worked with a lot of folks and have experience using many therapies, but what I’ve really learned is that each person has a unique story and needs someone to help them find the next direction to take it. I’ve also discovered my own solutions in life have often come when I am outdoors and notice how nature helps me feel free and open to new ideas. This is the reason for Active Talks: to create a safe place to have honest conversations while moving together in a natural environment.

Ana believes that the journey to healing begins with achieving a sense of connection within ourselves, and that we innately have the tools we need to overcome our obstacles in life. However, sometimes we don’t know how to access our inner healer toolbox, or we get stuck and need guidance through our healing journeys. Ana combines evidence-based approaches and therapeutic yoga to guide her clients towards healing and embodying their authentic selves in every area of their lives.
Ana earned her master’s degree in social work in 2011. She spent the past several years working with Veterans at the VA Medical Center and focuses on helping others heal from trauma, depression, and anxiety, and working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. The psychotherapies she uses include: cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and prolonged exposure. She also has extensive training in yin yoga and how to apply yoga therapeutically through yoga nidra, mantra, mudra, pranayma, and meditation.
