Yoga for Arthritis Teacher Training


October 5th -8th

With 1 in 5 adults estimated to have arthritis, they are in your classes. Even more have related chronic pain conditions. Do you want to be safe and effective with arthritis and chronic pain? Join Ann Swanson to learn to teach this evidence-based program developed through a decade of rigorous research at Johns Hopkins University.

In this 34 hour training, you will:

●      Learn creative modifications for joint limitations and chronic pain

●      Understand joint anatomy and pathophysiology as related to arthritis in depth

●      Become familiar with the most common of the 100+ arthritis conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis & more.

●      Become qualified to teach Yoga for Arthritis classes & workshops in your community

This training counts as 25 hour for those on the IAYT Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Track
