Fermentation Station: Cranberry-Ginger Chutney for your holiday!

November 2nd, 6:30-8:00 pm

Fermentation is the oldest way of preparing food in the history of the world, and is one of the few ways to make your food not only easier to digest but also more alive and more nutritious! Every traditional culture has paired rich, heavy meals with fermented items to add nutrients and ease digestion. Embrace this tradition with your very own fermented, probiotic, nutritious and delicious Cranberry Ginger Chutney to take home for the holidays! Alana Watanabe of Watanabe Warrior Womyn (previously Turmeric and Old Lace Healing Essentials) has been an avid fermentation enthusiast since 2009 when she became known in her hometown as the "Fermentation Fairy". She has worked as a professional fermenter in several establishments; today she loves helping people like you find their most healed self in her private practice at hOMe Collective. She can't wait to see you in class!

Each student will prepare a batch of Cranberry Ginger Chutney and take it home to enjoy the magic of fermentation!

Enrollment in advance in STRONGLY encouraged to guarantee the correct number of supplies for your chutney!
